Job summary

Venture Global LNG, a Louisiana-based energy company, is seeking a proactive HR Business Partner to support Plaquemines Parish operations. The role focuses on talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations and performance management to build a strong people strategy.

The candidate will partner with leaders to write compelling job descriptions, develop staffing solutions in a lean environment, and ensure policies align with our culture and mission. Experience with data-driven HR is essential.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive HR Generalist or HRBP experience.
• Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance frameworks, and HR policy development.
• Strong relationship management, coaching and communication skills.
• Experience managing employee relations matters and facilitating performance improvement.
• Workday experience is a plus.

• Serve as a strategic partner to business leaders on recruiting, performance management and workforce planning.
• Use people analytics and HR metrics to assess trends, present insights, and inform data driven decisions.
• Lead employee relations investigations and provide guidance to managers on complex HR issues in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

This person will oversee our growing team in Plaquemines Parish, LA as it relates to talent acquisition, compliance, employee relations and performance management. The ideal candidate will have experience building teams in a high growth industrial environment with a focus on helping leaders to not just fill jobs, enforce policies and administer benefits, but write compelling job descriptions that highlight our employment brand, create innovative staffing solutions in a lean environment, and develop policies that support our culture and mission. The right person will challenge conventional HR thinking in service of finding unique solutions.

Required Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred
