Our client is seeking a Bilingual HR Generalist to join their team and play a key role supporting a fast-paced plant/industrial environment. This is a highly visible, hands-on position with a strong mix of full-cycle talent acquisition and broad HR Generalist responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is a bilingual HR professional who can confidently move between recruiting, and general day to day HR operation tasks while partnering closely with leaders and employees across the organization.
What You'll Do
Talent Acquisition
- Own the full-cycle recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through interviews, offers, and onboarding.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and recruit for a variety of facility and operational positions.
- Utilize ATS to manage candidates and streamline the hiring process.
- Develop effective behavioral interview questions and provide interviewing guidance to managers.
- Track recruitment activity and support established time-to-fill goals.
- Manage relationships with staffing vendors and support talent development initiatives.
HR Generalist / HR Operations
- Serve as a hands‑on HR resource across employee relations, HRIS, benefits, compensation, performance management, compliance, and reporting.
- Maintain and optimize HRIS ensuring data integrity, security, accurate reporting, and effective workflows.
- Troubleshoot HRIS questions and train HR team members, managers, and employees on system functionality.
- Support employee relations matters, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary processes.
- Assist with benefits administration, FMLA, leaves of absence, ADA accommodations, open enrollment, and employee questions.
- Support compensation programs, hourly performance reviews, merit planning, salary structures, and market analysis.
- Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and conduct regular audits of HR files, I‑9s, and HRIS data.
- Produce HR metrics, workforce analytics, and other reporting to support business decisions.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance HR operations and the employee experience.
What We're Looking For — Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8+ years of progressive HR experience, including significant hands‑on HR Generalist experience.
- Industrial industry experience (i.e., distribution, oil & gas, warehouse, manufacturing, etc.)— required.
- Demonstrated full-cycle recruitment experience.
- Experience across employee relations, benefits, compensation, performance management, compliance, and HR reporting.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment regulations.
- Experience supporting a diverse, multi-site workforce.
- Strong communication, relationship‑building, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and maintain confidentiality in sensitive HR matters.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred: SHRM-CP or PHR certification.
