Job summary

Unify Recruit is seeking a Bi-lingual HR Generalist (Spanish-speaking) to support our manufacturing operations on 2nd shift. This role drives employee engagement, ensures compliance, and handles day-to-day HR tasks in a fast-paced setting.

You will partner with managers, recruit and screen candidates, conduct training, and oversee HR reporting. A minimum of 2 years HR experience in manufacturing plus bilingual fluency are required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years HR experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of Title VII, EEOC, ADA, FMLA.

Responsibilities

  • Support the administration and enforcement of company policies and procedures
  • Partner with managers and supervisors to address employee relations and disciplinary matters
  • Recruit, screen, and interview candidates for open positions
  • Conduct employee training, investigations, and I-9 audits
  • Assist with unemployment claims, appeals, and hearings
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws
  • Analyze turnover, retention, and absenteeism data; support development of improvement initiatives
  • Prepare and distribute HR reports as needed
  • Perform other HR-related duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR and employee relations experience (manufacturing environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws (Title VII, EEOC, ADA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient with technology and HR systems
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Office setting within a manufacturing facility
  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs
  • Exposure to production environments including noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment
  • May include exposure to cold, damp conditions and strong odors
