Job summary

Marketing Alliance Group is seeking a bilingual HR professional who blends strong HR expertise with business judgment to support multiple locations. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, compliance, and proactive problem-solving across hourly and salaried staff.

The successful candidate will administer HR programs, advise leaders on performance and development, manage employee relations, and ensure accurate record-keeping while fostering a positive, compliant workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, business admin, or related field preferred.
  • 3–5 years progressive HR experience in manufacturing or multi-site environment.
  • Strong MS Office skills and HRIS proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Administers and implements company-wide HR policies across assigned locations.
  • Serves as primary contact for employee relations, investigations, and resolutions; escalates complex matters as needed.
  • Partners with leaders on performance management, development, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Supports workforce planning and succession planning with business leaders and HR leadership.
  • Ensures training completion including safety, compliance, and development programs.
  • Supports recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and retention for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Conducts new hire orientation and supports engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintains employee records and HR documentation in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
  • Supports safety initiatives by maintaining safety records and partnering with operations leaders.
  • Administers and supports HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave, talent management, and compliance.
  • Responds to inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors with practical solutions.
  • Participates in investigations and terminations ensuring fairness and compliance.
  • Maintains knowledge of HR trends and employment laws to improve processes.
  • Builds relationships with leaders as trusted HR advisor.
  • Leads or participates in special projects as assigned.

Job description

We are looking for a bilingual HR professional who combines strong HR expertise with sound business judgment and a hands-on approach. This individual has the confidence to challenge thinking, when necessary, influence leaders toward the right decision, and navigate complex employee and business issues with professionalism and integrity. They are proactive, resilient, and solutions-oriented, comfortable working in the gray, and willing to step outside traditional HR boundaries to support the business. They take ownership, build strong relationships with both leadership and employees, and consistently find ways to add value while driving positive outcomes for both employees and the organization.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Administers and implements company-wide human resources policies, procedures, and programs across assigned locations.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations, counseling employees and managers, and recommending appropriate resolutions; escalates complex or high-risk matters as needed.
  • Partners with leaders to provide guidance on performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Supports workforce planning and succession planning efforts in partnership with business leaders and HR leadership.
  • Ensures employees complete required training, including safety, compliance, and development programs.
  • Supports recruitment and talent management initiatives to include the creation of job descriptions, onboarding coordination, employee development, and retention programs for hourly and salaried positions.
  • Conducts new hire orientation and supports employee engagement, recognition, and retention initiatives.
  • Maintains employee records, HR documentation, and required reports in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Supports safety initiatives by maintaining safety-related records and partnering with operations leaders to promote a safe work environment.
  • Administers and supports HR programs including compensation, benefits, leave administration, talent management, training and development, employee recognition, and compliance initiatives.
  • Responds to employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors and provides practical solutions and recommendations.
  • Participates in investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and assists with policy development and implementation.
  • Builds strong relationships with business leaders and serves as a trusted advisor on people-related matters.
  • Maintains knowledge of HR trends, employment law updates, and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and programs.
  • Leads or participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Ability to learn how to effectively use HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and with others in a team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping projects on schedule and budget.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business leaders to make decisions that align with company values, compliance requirements, and long-term business success, even when the recommended path may be the more difficult one.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and changing priorities; able to assess situations using sound judgment rather than a strictly black-and-white approach.
  • Experience managing employee relations, performance management, investigations, and compliance-related activities.
  • Understanding of human resources principles and practices, including employment law, EEO compliance, benefits administration, retention, employee development, and workplace safety.
  • Self-starter with strong initiative, drive, and follow-through; proactively identifies issues, opportunities, and solutions without requiring constant direction.
  • Proven ability to think critically, solve problems, and present practical recommendations that balance employee and business needs.
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and support operational needs beyond traditional HR responsibilities when necessary to help the business achieve its goals.
  • Strong business partnership mindset with a customer-service approach and commitment to getting the job done.
  • Ability to build credibility, trust, and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
