Job summary

Ferretti Search is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a temporary assignment in a manufacturing setting in Northeast Charlotte. You will handle payroll, onboarding, benefits enrollment, and recruitment, working onsite to support hourly and salaried staff.

Key duties include processing payroll cycles, coordinating interviews, managing ATS activity, and collaborating with staffing agencies while maintaining confidentiality and high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR and/or payroll experience.
• Strong hands-on payroll experience is required.
• UKG experience highly preferred.
• Experience processing payroll for both hourly and salaried employees.
• Recruiting experience, preferably within manufacturing, industrial, construction, or skilled-trades environments.
• Experience working with staffing agencies and temporary employees is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, fully onsite environment.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

Contract: Temporary assignment, expected to run through early 2027

Compensation: $30-$35/hour
