THE ROLE YOU'LL OWN
The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing the full scope of human resources operations, from recruitment and employee relations to benefits administration and performance management. This individual will be a trusted partner to management and employee, ensuring that HR practices are aligned with Choice Digital’s values, culture, and compliance needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruiting & Onboarding:
    Own the recruiting process by posting positions, reviewing resumes, evaluating candidates, and conducting pre-screen interviews. Assist in developing an efficient onboarding experience.

  • Employee Relations:
    Serve as the liaison between management and employees by addressing inquiries, interpreting and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related problems.

  • Benefits & Compliance:
    Develop competitive benefits policies that comply with legal requirements. Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems, ensuring they align with industry standards.

  • Performance Reviews:
    Own and manage the performance review cycle, ensuring it reflects Choice Digital’s culture of accountability and supports employee development.

  • Employee Support:
    Provide current and prospective employees with information on policies, job duties, working conditions, wages, promotional opportunities, and benefits.

  • Compliance:
    Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as an HR generalist or in a similar role, ideally in the payments industry
  • Strong knowledge of personnel recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits.
