Title: Senior HR Generalist – Employee Relations (Remote, PST/MST Hours)

Location: Remote (U.S. Based, PST/MST preferred)

Employment Type: Contract – 6 months

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced HR Generalist with a specialization in Employee Relations for a fully remote, contract-based opportunity. In this role, you will handle complex ER matters, lead investigations, guide disciplinary processes, and serve as an advisor to HR Business Partners and leadership teams. Ideal candidates will have strong judgment, communication skills, and a track record of handling high-risk or sensitive employee issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct independent investigations into policy violations or workplace concerns.
• Advise leaders on disciplinary actions and employee interventions.
• Document case findings using consistent ER frameworks.
• Identify systemic issues and propose HR policy/process improvements.
• Coach managers on conflict resolution and communication.
• Support ER-related training and mentorship efforts.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of ER/HR experience
• Strong case documentation, compliance awareness
• Comfort in remote, fast-paced environments
• Tools: HRIS, case management systems

Nice to Have:

• HR Certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR)
• Tech/startup experience
