CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a rapidly growing North Texas manufacturer to hire a Human Resources Director who will lead the full HR function. You will drive employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, compliance, HR operations, training, analytics, and policy development while building the team's capabilities to support continued growth.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Experience building or improving HR processes, systems, programs, or functions.
  • Experience leading and developing an HR team.
  • Experience delivering manager or employee training.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigations experience.
  • Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders.
  • Strong HRIS, reporting, analytics, and workforce metrics experience.
  • Strong communication, judgment, consultation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Experience in manufacturing, engineering, technology, industrial, or another technical environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex employee relations matters including investigations, performance concerns, corrective action, conflict resolution, and terminations.
  • Partner with senior leaders on workforce challenges, organizational needs, employee engagement, retention, and HR priorities.
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, leave administration, HR operations, employee records, and related HR programs.
  • Develop and improve HR policies, processes, systems, and practices.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the HR team.
  • Build and deliver manager and employee training around leadership, performance management, policy, compliance, employee relations, and other HR topics.
  • Manage HR vendors, resources, and budget responsibilities.
  • Monitor turnover, retention, absenteeism, compensation, staffing levels, and other workforce metrics and use the data to make recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and help manage employment‑related risk.
  • Partner with business leaders on people and organizational decisions as the company continues to grow.

Job description

CornerStone Professional Placement is partnering with a rapidly growing North Texas manufacturer seeking a Human Resources Director.

This role will lead across the full HR function, including employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, HR operations, training, workforce analytics, and policy.

The company is growing quickly and needs someone who can evaluate what is in place, identify gaps, improve processes, and build the HR structure needed to support continued growth.

This is a hands‑on leadership role. The right person will be comfortable managing day‑to‑day HR issues while also improving systems and processes, developing the team, and advising senior leadership.

  • Experience building or substantially improving HR processes, systems, programs, or functions.
  • Experience developing and delivering manager or employee training.
  • Strong employee relations and workplace investigation experience.
  • Experience partnering with executives and senior leaders.
  • Strong HRIS, reporting, analytics, and workforce metrics experience.
  • Strong communication, judgment, consultation, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑moving environment.
