The Michigan Dental Association (MDA) and its Insurance and Financial Group (IFG) are seeking a Director of Human Resources to champion our people strategy and foster a high-performing, inclusive workplace culture.
As the HR Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in aligning our talent strategy with organizational goals, leading internal HR operations as well as our HR benefit for MDA members. The ideal candidate is approachable and engaging, yet confident in handling difficult conversations when needed. They are adaptable and open-minded, while also bringing a solid foundation in compliance and regulatory knowledge. They balance big-picture thinking with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
The Michigan Dental Association (MDA) is Michigan’s primary source for oral healthcare and home to more than 5,900 Michigan dentists. MDA connects them in a professional association to offer community, collaboration, and resources including continuing education.

Work Location and Travel
This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid schedule, working from the Okemos office two days a week. Travel throughout Michigan is required several times throughout the year.
Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation and benefit package for this position is a competitive one which includes the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
