Job summary

Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role reports to the facility Administrator and collaborates with a corporate HR consultant for ongoing training and support.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in HR or related field, at least two years of HR experience (healthcare preferred), and may hold PHR or SPHR certification.

Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example, maintains integrity, and enjoys working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment. This position reports to the facility Administrator and is supported by a corporate Human Resources consultant who offers ongoing training and assistance. This highly visible position is responsible for developing and executing recruitment, retention and recognition processes that encourage a committed, customer-oriented workforce; assists with investigating and resolving complaints, problems and morale issues; and requires outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree with concentration in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. Two years HR experience required, preferably in a health care setting. PHR or SPHR preferred.
