Job summary

Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville, VA is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position reports to the facility Administrator, works with a corporate HR consultant, and is responsible for payroll, recruitment, retention and recognition programs, and resolving staff issues with integrity.

Applicants should have a bachelor’s degree in HR and at least two years of HR experience; PHR or SPHR

Hanover Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mechanicsville is seeking a dynamic human resources professional who leads by example, maintains integrity, and enjoys working in a fast paced, multi-tasking environment.

This position reports to the facility Administrator and is supported by a corporate Human Resources consultant who offers ongoing training and assistance. This highly visible position is responsible for payroll, developing and executing recruitment, retention and recognition processes that encourage a committed, customer-oriented workforce; assists with investigating and resolving complaints, problems and morale issues; and requires outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills.

Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor’s degree with concentration in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience. Two years HR experience required, preferably in a health care setting. PHR or SPHR preferred.
