Skilled Nursing Facility of Delaware in Millsboro, DE is seeking a Full Time Human Resources Director to lead all HR functions for a confidential facility in Sussex County. The role requires prior LTC or skilled nursing HR experience and a hands-on approach to payroll, compliance training, and employee relations.

You will oversee onboarding, background checks, FMLA/LOA processes, licensure tracking, and mandatory in-service training to ensure state survey readiness and high workforce standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll, leaves, and compliance.
• Ability to maintain employee records and training documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests

• Responsible for the onboarding of new hires, performing background checks, providing in-services in corporate compliance mandates

• Responsible for facility payroll

• Maintain and track FMLA and LOA Leave processes in facility.

• Maintain accurate personnel files, licensure/certification tracking, and mandatory in-service training records in accordance with state survey requirements.
