Job summary

Nexus Health is seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead the HR department for our Illinois facility. You will manage payroll, benefits, recruitment, onboarding, orientation, employee relations and compliance with labor laws.

Preferred candidates bring union experience (SEIU) and strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, OSHA, with a strategic focus on talent management and policy execution across the organization.

Qualifications

• Previous HR experience in Nursing Home or Skilled Nursing Facility.
• Experience working with unions (SEIU).
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEOC, and OSHA.
• Experience with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, retention, performance management, and benefits administration.

Responsibilities
