Job summary

Manpower San Diego is seeking an HR Shared Services professional to resolve employee and manager HR inquiries in a dynamic contact center. You will support global policies, programs, processes, and human capital tools such as Workday.

Responsibilities include documenting case notes, opening tickets, using FAQs and knowledge bases, assisting with self-service HR transactions, and providing clear, courteous service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent HR experience.
• Associates + 2+ years HR work experience, or High School + 4+ years HR work experience.
• Customer service and HR knowledge are required.

Responsibilities

• Uses FAQs, scripts, and HR knowledge to assist employees and managers.
• Supports HR self-service transactions (data changes, onboarding, benefits, performance, etc.).

Job description

As a member of our HR Shared Services team, you will thrive in a dynamic contact center environment, dedicated to addressing and resolving HR inquiries from employees, managers, and fellow HR team members. In this role, you will provide essential support for global HR policies, programs, processes, and human capital tools.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Documents accurate case notes for straightforward inquiries following each phone call, webportal chat, or online employee case submission; opens case management tickets for any unresolved issues and refers case to the appropriate expert for problem resolution.
• Uses FAQs, scripts, and applies basic HR knowledge to assist employees at all levels; searches HR webportal and knowledge base system for relevant information to provide answers to employee questions.
• Assists customers with any problems encountered while using HR self-service tools for employee transactions (e.g., data changes, onboarding, separations, benefits administration, performance management, compensation, job postings, etc.); displays candor, respect, and fairness.
• Answers basic inquiries for industry leading Human Capital Management Tools such as Workday modules, ServiceNow, Bswift, Eightfold, etc.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under supervision.
• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group
• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey information. May require basic negotiation, influence, tact, etc
• Tasks require multiple steps which can be performed in various orders; some planning, problem-solving, and prioritization must occur to complete the tasks effectively.

Education Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or
• Associate's degree and 2+ years of Human Resources work experience. or
• High School Diploma or equivalent and 4+ years of Human Resources work experience.
