Job summary

A leading entertainment company in Indiana, Pennsylvania, seeks an HR assistant to aid various HR functions. The candidate should have experience in customer service and a strong educational background in HR or related fields. Responsibilities include assisting with HR communication, and maintaining records while ensuring compliance with regulations. Desired skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university preferred.
  • One to two years of experience in Human Resources or office setting preferred; minimum one (1) year of experience in a customer service position required.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills; must be fluent and literate in English.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, codes, and/or statutes a plus.
  • Must have excellent presentation, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Knowledge of HRIS systems and Applicant Tracking Systems a plus.
  • Ability to research, analyze, comprehend, and act upon information as appropriate.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as business needs dictate.
  • Ability to work independently on a wide variety of special projects. Ability to prepare clear and concise administrative reports.

Responsibilities

  • Provides assistance in all areas of HR, including employment, communication, team member events, and record retention.
  • Maintains general office, front, lobby area, and TDR kiosks, ensuring that they are clean, orderly, and well-stocked.
  • Greets all visitors to the HR office in a positive, upbeat manner while answering questions, assisting with application processes, answering phone calls, and administering selection assessments.
  • Handles team member questions/requests and escalates issues as appropriate to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Performs administrative duties, including maintaining employee records, data entry and research, preparing reports, ordering office supplies, managing team member/vendor badges, gaming licensing and renewals, etc.
  • Assists in coordinating and facilitating Talent Audition and New Hire Orientation.
  • Assists in developing and maintaining property communication.
  • Maintains a professional, courteous, and friendly demeanor with all team members, applicants, and guests.
  • Assists with design and execution of engagement, wellness, and retention events.
  • Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service.
  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
  • Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.

  • Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations within area of authority and reporting potential issues to management.
  • Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
