Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare, complete, and process all tasks and paperwork required in the recruiting and onboarding process.
  2. Process and maintain all employee records for new hires, transfers, employment status changes, terminations, benefits enrollment, compensation changes, disciplinary actions, performance evaluations, leave requests, PTO, etc.
  3. Conduct new hire orientation, ensuring all safety protocols, training, and policies are read, understood, and acknowledged.
  4. Handle investigations, complaints, terminations, worker's compensation claims, unemployment claims, and leave management.
  5. Process weekly payroll, review timesheets, enter reported tips and commissions, and ensure all status changes, benefits, and compensation updates are accurately reflected.
  6. Lead and execute employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive company culture, including gathering feedback, implementing recognition programs, organizing events, and coordinating training for professional development.
  7. Demonstrate ability to comprehend written and verbal communication effectively.
  8. Work any shift, including weekends, holidays, and in various weather conditions.
  9. Ability to multi-task, work independently, and make reasonable and ethical decisions.
  10. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business management, or HR certification preferred.
  11. Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
