Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to oversee and support HR operations in our skilled nursing facility. This position will work closely with the Administrator and department directors to ensure effective staffing, employee relations, onboarding, payroll support, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and personnel records.
- Advise managers and department directors on HR policies, employee relations, and employment regulations.
- Coordinate recruiting, interviews, background checks, references, and pre-employment screening.
- Complete required AHCA Clearinghouse, CMS, abuse registry, criminal background, and license checks.
- Ensure hiring, termination, employment eligibility, and personnel procedures comply with federal and state regulations.
- Coordinate new employee orientation and communicate facility policies and procedures.
- Monitor employee licenses, certifications, physicals, and required vaccinations.
- Assist with payroll functions, employee roster accuracy, and Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) reporting.
- Support benefits administration and employee engagement initiatives.
- Track workers' compensation cases and employee injuries and assist with required OSHA reporting.
- Monitor turnover and staffing trends and recommend strategies to improve employee retention.
- Conduct wage and job market analysis and make recommendations regarding competitive pay.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and HR reports.
- Partner with department leaders to address staffing needs and improve operational efficiency.
- Stay current on applicable employment laws, regulations, and healthcare HR requirements.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience required.
- HR experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, or healthcare setting strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of personnel administration and applicable employment laws and regulations.
- Experience with AHCA Clearinghouse, HRIS, and payroll systems.
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- Empeon and SBV experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
