Job summary

Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support a full range of human resources activities at our Live Oak, Florida facility.

You will lead recruitment, manage payroll changes, benefits administration, I-9 compliance, workers’ compensation, disability claims, and FMLA, while maintaining confidential employee records and providing guidance to employees and leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years HR experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Union experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organizational, proactive and detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement and morale programs; manage payroll changes, terminations and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Department of Health guidelines.
• Lead recruitment by sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates for open positions.
• Oversee I-9 documentation, workers' compensation, disability claims, and FMLA administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement by developing morale programs, managing effective disciplinary practices, and handling payroll changes, terminations, and benefits administration.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Department of Health guidelines.

• Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and interviewing qualified candidates for open positions.

• Oversee critical HR processes, including I-9 documentation, workers' compensation, disability claims, and FMLA administration.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Preferred Skills: Union experience is a plus.
