Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Live Oak, Florida is seeking an HR Coordinator to support payroll changes, benefits, and employee relations in a busy nursing facility.

You will handle recruitment, maintain records, ensure compliance, and respond to staff questions, contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Experience with payroll changes, benefits administration, and disciplinary actions.

• Knowledge of I-9, workers’ compensation, disability claims, and FMLA processes.

Responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement through morale programs and benefits administration.

Pay Rate: $28–$31 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Champion employee engagement by developing morale programs, managing effective disciplinary practices, and handling payroll changes, terminations, and benefits administration.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including Department of Health guidelines.
• Lead recruitment efforts by sourcing, screening, and interviewing qualified candidates for open positions.
• Oversee critical HR processes, including I-9 documentation, workers’ compensation, disability claims, and FMLA administration.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
• Support employees and leadership with HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience, preferably in a skilled nursing or healthcare environment.
• Preferred Skills: Union experience is a plus.
• Key Traits: Strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
• Professionalism: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and integrity.
