Dyersburg Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dyersburg, TN is seeking a compassionate HR Coordinator to join our team. You will manage payroll, onboarding, and employee engagement to create a positive employee experience from recruitment to ongoing support.

Responsibilities include coordinating benefits, maintaining HRIS, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting leadership on workforce planning. Qualified candidates will have strong communication and integrity in handling confidential

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Human Resources, healthcare or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Oversee biweekly payroll processing and ensure accuracy and compliance
• Partner with department leaders to identify staffing needs and support hiring efforts
• Conduct new hire onboarding, orientation, and employee paperwork
• Help coordinate employee events, recognition programs, and facility initiatives
• Support and guide management on employee relations, performance issues, and policy interpretation
• Maintain HRIS and personnel files in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and healthcare-specific regulatory requirements
• Lead training and development initiatives for staff and supervisors
• Collaborate with leadership on workforce planning and engagement strategies
• Conduct investigations, mediate conflicts, and uphold a positive workplace culture
