Job summary

PENN Entertainment is seeking an HR Professional to support multiple HR functions, including onboarding, licensing, fingerprinting, and administrative duties. You will maintain employee records, coordinate training, and assist with orientation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience.

  • Ability to multi-task and solve problems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in HR areas including employment, onboarding, badging/licensing, fingerprinting, training administration, and recordkeeping.
  • Maintain front office, lobby, and computer lab areas neat, stocked, and organized.
  • Handle team member questions/ requests and escalate issues as needed for prompt resolution.
  • Perform administrative duties: maintain employee records, data entry, and reports; manage badges, gaming licensing, renewals.
  • Assist in coordinating onboarding and New Hire Orientation.
  • Provide fingerprinting services to applicants and the general public.
  • Maintain a positive, professional demeanor with team members, applicants, and guests; promote superior customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations within area of responsibility.
  • Assist with other HR projects and events as needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documentsin English, such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to read and communicate verbally in English. Written communication skills in in English may also be required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement,volumeand distance. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area,possessabilitytooperatean adding machine and have basic computer skills.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to applycommon senseunderstanding to carry out instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
  1. Employees must be able to obtain andmaintainall licenses and permits required by federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to a West Virginia Lottery License and a West Virginia Racing Commission License.
  2. Employees must be able to qualify as a Notary Public in West Virginia and obtain certification through the Company's screening vendor to administer screening and fingerprinting services.
  3. All required licenses, permits, and certifications will befacilitatedand paid for by the Company and are notrequiredprior to employment.
