SUMMARY: Goulston & Storrs is an Am Law 200 law firm seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to assist the Human Resources department with a wide range of HR functions including professional staff recruitment, onboarding, legal compliance, performance management, benefit administration, and other human resources initiatives. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, highly motivated, detail orientated and will exercise discretion with confidential information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interview scheduling, applicant tracking, background checks and onboarding.
  • Assist with professional staff performance review processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Create and run reports using firm’s HRIS.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives including the firm’s charitable giving, diversity, and recognition programs.
  • Create and update intranet postings and social media pages for all human resources related events.
  • Support the HR team with planning and execution of projects and events.
  • Assist benefits team with benefits administration.
  • Process and audit departmental invoices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

  • Professional attitude, reliable, strong work ethic, and discretion with sensitive employee issues.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to prioritize meet tight deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
  • Must be accurate, consistent, detail oriented, and flexible.
  • Must be well organized and a self-starter.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years of human resource experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite) and aptitude to learn HR related applications.
