Thompson Marine is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative support for pre-employment screening, onboarding, and HRIS data management. The role involves handling employee transfers, records, and separations with a strong focus on confidentiality and compliance.
The candidate will maintain HR records, support benefits and payroll teams, and ensure timely responses to supervisor inquiries while adhering to HR policies and procedures.
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Team in the areas of pre-employment screening, employee onboarding, employee position changes, employee separation, HRIS data management, and employee recordkeeping.

Some Knowledge
Associates or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
Bachelors or better in Human Resource Administration or related field.
Associate or bachelor’s degree, preferably in the area of personnel administration, human resources, organizational development or related field.
One to three years of experience working in personnel or human resources administration.
Experience with HRIS, preferably UKG is a plus.
