Job summary

A leading ophthalmology provider in Aliso Viejo seeks an experienced HR Coordinator to facilitate human resource processes across various centers. Responsibilities include onboarding new hires, managing employee inquiries, maintaining personnel records, and generating HR reports. Qualifications

  • High School diploma and at least 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of an HRIS system and Microsoft Office required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests.
  • Complete all onboarding tasks for new hires.
  • Maintain company-wide organizational chart.
  • Submit online investigation requests for background checks.
  • Conduct benefits audits and reconcile invoices.
  • Assist with processing terminations and correspondence.
  • Prepare new employee files.
  • Manage Exit Interview surveys.
  • Generate and maintain HR reports.
  • Lead monthly new hire orientation sessions.

This position is primarily responsible for facilitating the human resources processes across our centers. This role administers pre-employment and terminations requirements and supports onboarding efforts for new hires. This role provides administrative support to the human resources functions, as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

Responsibilities
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes all onboarding tasks with all new hires and ensures everything is set for a successful first day.
  • Maintains company wide organizational chart.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new employee background checks.
  • Conducts benefit audits and reconciliation of invoices.
  • Assists with completion of reference checks.
  • Assists with processing terminations.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
  • Prepares new employee files.
  • Manage Exit Interviews surveys.
  • Maintain personnel records in both hardcopy and HRIS system, ensuring compliance with all employment requirements.
  • Generate and maintain HR reports, such as anniversary, termination, and other relevant reports.
  • Lead monthly new hire orientation sessions with HR Business Partners.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE AND OR LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

  • High School diploma and at least 4 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Multi-Site and Multi-State Experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with HRIS system, Paylocity.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
