Job summary

NVISION Eye Centers in the United States is hiring a Patient Counselor who educates ophthalmology patients and promotes company services. You will guide patients from entry through post-visit follow-up to ensure an outstanding experience.

The role focuses on delivering superior customer service, achieving sales targets, performing basic diagnostic tests for LASIK patients, and ensuring clear communication about preop and postop eye drops.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in patient counseling and/or sales, preferably in Ophthalmology or surgical practice.
• Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or customer service is also a great fit.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to deliver an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers high customer satisfaction (always friendly and helpful).
• Develops a bond with patients ensuring they feel welcomed, understood and appreciated during their visits to NVISION centers.
• Through thorough education, overcomes obstacles to scheduling surgical procedures.
• Achieves company set key performance indicators such as average sales price, upgrade and conversion percentage.
• Consistently meets sales quota (incentive compensation plan based on achieving key targets).
• Performs diagnostic tests necessary for LASIK patients.
• Demonstrates positive attitude and a friendly manner; and ability to work with a high degree of professionalism.
• Educates patients on preoperative and post-operative eye drops and medications.
• Responds to all calls, emails, and inquiries in a timely manner.

Job Summary

This Patient Counselor is primarily responsible for educating Ophthalmology patients and selling company services. This position will work with the patient from the time the patient enters the center and conduct follow up calls to ensure patients have an amazing experience.

Compensation

USD $20.00/Hr.

USD $25.00/Yr.
