Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a part-time HR Business Partner Intern to support HR activities across ABT sites in Grand Rapids, MI; Mesa, AZ; London, Ontario; and Nogales, MX.

The role is 20 hours per week, involving recruiting support, onboarding assistance, and coordination of HR programs and events as part of the ABT HR team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA in Business/Human Resources or related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with coordination of programs and policies to support ABT culture.
• Assist with recruiting resources for open US positions, including postings and phone screens.
• Coordinate with temp agencies for temporary staffing needs.
• Help coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation.
• Assist with transferring records to electronic files.
• Plan and facilitate company events with HR team.
• Assist with Learning and Development projects.
• Complete special HR or training projects.

This position is expected to work 20 hours/week, running 1/11 through 4/23

The HR Business Partner Intern will work with the Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) Human Resources team to provide HR resources and support for all ABT sites including Grand Rapids, MI; Mesa, AZ; London, Ontario; and Nogales, MX.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists with the coordination of programs and policies that support the ABT culture and improve the team member experience.
• Assists with recruiting resources for open positions at all US sites, including posting positions, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews.
• Coordinates with temp agencies to fill temporary employment needs.
• Helps coordinate team member onboarding activities. Assists with new hire orientation.
• Assists with the transfer of team member records for all sites to electronic files.
• Assists the HR team to plan and facilitate company sponsored events.
• Assists with Learning and Development projects.
• Completes special projects related to human resources or training and development.
