Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies is seeking a Pricing and Cost Analyst Intern to support senior managers and sourcing teams in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier relationships, and obtaining competitive material pricing for bids to customers.

The intern will analyze spend data, assist in supplier selection, RFQ processes, and develop dashboards in Power BI and Excel to track spend and pricing trends.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret legal data (strongly preferred).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and systems.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros/VBA, and experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Build Power BI dashboards and Excel tools to track spend, supplier performance, and pricing trends.
• Additional duties as assigned by manager.

This position is expected to work 20 hours/week, running 1/11 through 4/23

The Pricing and Cost Analyst Intern provides support to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Proposals, as well as the sourcing and pricing teams.

This position is responsible for supporting the strategic sourcing initiatives that contribute to our customer satisfaction and financial growth by developing strategic supplier relationships and obtaining the most competitive material pricing and lead-time on new bids to customers as well as being the point person in all material hand-offs from the bid phase to the purchasing phases.
