Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT) is seeking an HR Business Partner Intern to support ABT sites in Grand Rapids, MI; Mesa, AZ; London, Ontario; and Nogales, MX. You will assist with recruiting, onboarding, records transfer to electronic systems, events, and Learning & Development projects while gaining HR experience.

The internship runs 40 hours/week from May 17 to August 13, offering exposure to full HR operations across multiple regions and sites.

• Pursuing a BA in Business/Human Resources/related discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines.
• Ability to maintain confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the coordination of programs and policies that support the ABT culture and improve the team member experience.
• Assists with recruiting resources for open positions at all US sites, including posting positions, screening resumes, conducting phone screens, and coordinating interviews.
• Coordinates with temp agencies to fill temporary employment needs.
• Helps coordinate team member onboarding activities. Assists with new hire orientation.
• Assists with the transfer of team member records for all sites to electronic files.
• Assists the HR team to plan and facilitate company sponsored events.
• Assists with Learning and Development projects.
• Completes special projects related to human resources or training and development.
