Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies (ABT), a division of Amphenol Corporation, seeks a Pricing and Cost Analyst Intern to support the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and proposals. The role focuses on developing strategic supplier relationships, obtaining competitive pricing, and coordinating hand-offs from bid to purchasing phases.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Finance, or Business.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret legal data (strongly preferred).
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and systems.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced working environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, including macros/VBA, and experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze spend data/market trends to develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
• Research and assist in supplier selection for sourcing initiatives.
• Send RFQs and gather pricing information for proposals.
• Assist in maintaining approved supplier list.
• Assist in developing and implementing cost reduction initiatives to improve PPV.
• Assist in continuous improvement and optimization projects.
• Build Power BI dashboards and Excel tools to track spend, supplier performance, and pricing trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

This position is expected to work 40 hours/week, running 5/17 through 8/13

The Pricing and Cost AnalystIntern provides support to the Senior Manager of Strategic Sourcing and Proposals, as well as the sourcing and pricing teams.

This position is responsible forsupporting thestrategic sourcing initiatives that contribute to our customer satisfaction and financial growth by developing strategic supplier relationships andobtainingthe most competitive material pricingand lead-timeon new bids to customers as well as being the point person in all material hand-offs from the bid phase to the purchasing phases.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Analyzes spenddata/market trends to develop overall strategic sourcing initiatives
• Research andassistin selection ofsuppliers for strategic sourcing agreements/initiatives
• Sendrequestfor quotes and gatherpricing information for proposals
