Job summary

Amphenol Borisch Technologies in Mesa, AZ seeks an Engineering Intern to support the Engineering team on production projects and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on engineering experience in an electronics manufacturing environment and runs 40 hours per week from May 17 to August 13.

Ideal candidates are engineering students (junior/senior) with knowledge of Windows/Microsoft Office and familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college or university Engineering Program.
• Junior or Senior level, preferred. Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering discipline, preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Helps develop, improve and revise manufacturing processes.
• Helps design and implement tooling and fixtures for effective manufacturing.
• Helps analyze failures and troubleshoots to improve test yields.
• Supports purchasing, quality, test, and production departments to ensure product integrity is maintained.
• Supports cost justification studies and ROI for capital equipment.
• Creating and updating work instructions.
• Supports SOW development for equipment implementation and validation
