Prestigious midsized financial services technology based firm seeks a human resources professional to provide expertise in the area of recruitment, employee relations, compensation, benefits and performance management across all business lines. Candidates will be responsible for developing and introducing human resources practices as appropriate, translate business strategies and objectives into appropriate actions and initiatives, coach business leaders on issues of effective team building and organizational effectiveness, ensure proper implementation and execution of programs and initiatives, support the business with organizational change and development, support the delivery of effective and efficient people services through a detailed understanding of employee benefit plans, compliant handling of all employee relations matters, partnering with Risk Mitigation and Policy Development and with Legal in addition to managing the recruitment selection process and onboarding process for new staff. Other responsibilities will be to advise on new employment legislation and assist in compliance with employment law, execute policies and procedures in compliance with federal, state and local regulations and managing employee grievances, disciplinary issues, conflict resolution, and employment terminations.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelors degree along with 7 to 10 years experience within human resources and at least 3 in a generalist / business partner role.
