Astor & Sanders Corporation (Astor), an award-winning IT solutions provider located in McLean, VA, is seeking a Human Resources Associate to administer, coordinate, support, and perform HR activities and tasks. This is a full-time position based in McLean, VA.

Roles and responsibilities include:
  1. Providing support to Human Resources functions such as benefits, compliance, records management, corrective actions, and HRIS.
  2. Performing duties assigned by HR Generalists, including organizing corporate documents, updating employee files, conducting new hire orientations, benefits administration, leave requests, and other employment-related activities.
  3. Coordinating activities related to employee payroll.
  4. Monitoring project timelines and following up on tasks and deadlines.
  5. Liaising with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency.
  6. Identifying opportunities to improve departmental performance, policies, procedures, and management systems.
  7. Developing and maintaining positive relationships with employees.
  8. Performing other duties as assigned.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent coordination skills.
