Job summary

Nassal, part of the PCL family, is seeking a District HRPD Advisor for our Nassal office in Orlando. You will lead HRPD programs, develop recruitment strategies, and guide district-wide initiatives while mentoring HR professionals and building strong stakeholder relationships.

You will participate in policy development, provide career management coaching, and support compensation analyses. This role emphasizes collaboration within a highly matrixed organization and demands discretion and strong

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; higher education preferred.
  • Pursuing HR designation preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently or in a matrixed organization.
  • Mentor and coach entry-level HR professionals.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes a recruitment plan with sourcing strategies.
  • Participates in district HRPD planning and leads district-level project initiatives.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training on career management.
  • Coaches supervisors on employee relations, compensation, recruitment, and performance improvement.
  • Assists with local market research for annual compensation review and calibrates salary/bonus review for client groups.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with stakeholders within the district.
  • Oversees the student program strategy and maintains relationships with academic institutions.

Responsibilities
  • Leads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.
  • Develops and executes a recruitment plan with appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Participates in district HRPD planning process and leads the development, execution, and evaluation of district-level project initiatives as assigned.
  • Provides guidance, coaching, and training on all aspects of career management.
  • Guides and coaches supervisors on employee relations issues, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement activities, workforce planning and training programs.
  • Assists with local market research and analysis for annual compensation review and owns the calibration of salary/bonus review process for client groups.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders within the district.
  • Oversees the student program strategy and maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
  • Working towards an HR designation preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
  • Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to research, analyze information and data, and make recommendations.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Able to mentor and coach entry-level human resources professionals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.
