Job summary

Nassal, part of the PCL family, seeks a District HRPD Advisor to lead HR policies, recruitment plans, and district projects. The role focuses on career management coaching and advising supervisors on employee relations, compensation, and workforce planning in our Orlando office.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in HR, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a matrixed environment, mentoring entry-level professionals and building stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent; degree in HR preferred.
  • Working towards HR designation preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive HR experience preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong research, analytical, and data interpretation skills.
  • Ability to mentor entry-level HR professionals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong networking skills to build HR connections.
  • Ability to work independently in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

  • Leads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.
  • Develops and executes a recruitment plan with appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Participates in district HRPD planning; leads district-level projects and initiatives.
  • Provides guidance, coaches, and trains on career management.
  • Guides supervisors on employee relations, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement, workforce planning and training.
  • Assists with local market research and salary review calibration for client groups.
  • Develops and maintains relationships with stakeholders within the district.
  • Oversees the student program strategy and relationships with academic institutions.

Here’s how a(n) District HRPD Advisor for our Nassal office contributes to our team:

  • Leads and advises on HRPD programs, policy, practices, and compliance for assigned client groups.
  • Develops and executes a recruitment plan with appropriate sourcing strategies.
  • Participates in district HRPD planning process and leads the development, execution and evaluation of district-level projects initiatives as assigned.
  • Provides guidance, coaches, and trains on all aspects of career management.
  • Guides and coaches supervisors on employee relations issues, compensation, recruitment, performance improvement activities, workforce planning and training programs.
  • Assists with local market research and analysis for annual compensation review and owns the calibration of salary/bonus review process for client groups.
  • Develops and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders within the district.
  • Oversees the student program strategy and maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions.
Qualifications
  • Highschool diploma or equivalent required. Postsecondary diploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
  • Working towards an HR designation preferred.
  • 5 years of progressive human resources experience preferred.
  • Ability to tactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Ability to research, analyze information and data, and make recommendations.
  • Able to work independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
  • Able to mentor and coach entry-level human resources professionals.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and present ideas and content that influence a favorable outcome.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to develop and maintain HR networks.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking skills.
