Job summary

ABF Security is seeking an experienced HR professional to support day‑to‑day people operations in a fast‑paced security environment. This onsite role in Fenton, MO combines HR generalist duties with recruiting responsibilities to keep teams staffed and compliant with employment requirements.

Responsibilities include full-cycle recruiting for technical and office staff, coordinating background checks and onboarding, managing employee relations, and ensuring compliance with employment laws while

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience required.
• Service, construction, or security industry experience preferred.
• Ability to support both field and office employees.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for technicians, sales, and office staff.
• Coordinate background checks, drug screenings, and onboarding documentation.
• Support employee relations activities, including coaching and performance improvement plans.
• Help ensure compliance with FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, and OSHA.
• Administer benefits (health coverage, 401(k), PTO) and provide payroll support.
• Track HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs.
• Support training, employee engagement, and retention initiatives.
