Human Resources Generalist

Primary duties and responsibilities:
- Overseer recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
- Manage recruitment and selection and onboarding processes through ADP.
- Train and coach leaders in talent acquisition best practices.
- Conduct new hire orientation & work with supervisors to create new hire training schedule.
- Lead staff development, training, and performance management initiatives.
- Coordinate use of learning management platforms.
- Administer Clifton Strengths assessment; provide 1-1 and team coaching and maintain team document.
- Lead ongoing leadership and emerging leaders development
- Ensure staff complete development plans and discuss with supervisors
- Refine and implement succession planning strategies.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with HR policies and staff records.
- Monitor and improve employee safety protocols.
- Annually review with leaders and update the cybersecurity/disaster recovery plan.
- Conduct and analyze exit interviews for organizational improvement.
- Maintain and coordinate updates for the Employee Handbook.
- Manage HR systems to streamline administrative processes.
- Coordinate and administer employee benefits.
- Lead wellness initiatives.
- Foster positive employee relations; investigate and resolve workplace concerns.
- Work with BBB leaders in developing an effective organizational culture .
- Execute and fulfill assignments outlined in the annual strategic plan .
- Assist with other projects as needed by the executive team.
Experience, skills and abilities:
- Communicates clearly with strong written and verbal skills

- Understanding of federal, state and local laws relating to benefits, payroll, hiring, and the employee lifecycle

- Working knowledge of AP Style preferred
- Uses Microsoft Office Suite with proficiency
- Navigates or learns project management software with ease
- Bachelor’s degree and HR certification preferred
