Equipment Depot is seeking an HR Generalist to administer employee leave programs, accommodations, and COBRA while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws. You will act as the primary HR liaison for employees and managers, with back-up onboarding and termination responsibilities as needed.
The role requires a Bachelor's in HR and 3+ years' experience in leaves and accommodations, with strong knowledge of FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and related regulations.

The HR Generalist role is responsible for administering employee leave program, and employee accommodation process. This role will ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations while providing exceptional customer service. In addition, will serve as back-up for employee onboarding and manage all terminations according to state guidelines.

Education: Bachelor's degree in human resources or sufficient relevant work experience in human resources.
Experience: 3 + years in managing leaves and accommodations. Strong knowledge of federal, state employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, COBRA, HIPAA, ADA, and Military Leaves.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience with HRIS systems.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Computer Skills: Knowledge of HRIS systems, proficient in Microsoft Office skills is required.
Certificates & Licenses: PHR certification preferred
