Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; three years HR/leadership experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of federal/state/local labor regulations.
• Experience with EOS and manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; Paychex supporting HR processes.

Tower Industries is seeking a dedicated and collaborative HR Generalist to join our team. This is a part-time / hourly position.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and/or create employee job descriptions
• Manage recruiting efforts
• Manage employment processes including hiring, onboarding, orientation, training, promotion, transfer, performance evaluations, discipline & corrective action, termination, and exit
• Manage compensation and administer benefits
• Create and distribute employee communications
• Promote employee retention
• Work closely with other managers and department heads to understand staffing needs
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state and local human resources regulations and programs
• Support cross-functional team needs by actively assisting with other operational roles and tasks as business demands require.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Three years proven HR and leadership experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• Strong working knowledge of federal/state/local labor regulations
• Finance experience in Commercial Construction or Manufacturing desired
• Experience with EOS preferred
• Microsoft Office Software to include Word, Excel, Outlook; Paychex
