  • Serve as an approachable HR resource, listening respectfully to employee ideas and concerns and advocating for employees when appropriate.
  • Prepare and edit professional documents, correspondence, and employee communications.
  • Maintain accurate HR information and protect employee confidentiality.
  • Handle sensitive situations with discretion and sound judgment.
  • Support HR processes using payroll, HRIS, Microsoft Office, and other business systems.
  • Help ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Independently assess HR tasks, situations, and projects, take appropriate action, and follow through to completion.
  • Represent the company professionally and champion our culture, ethics, and commitment to safety.
  • Support employees across multiple shifts and company locations as business needs require.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring

  • 2+ years of HR-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to independently assess situations, prioritize work, take initiative, and follow through.
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate general office and computer equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Experience with—or the ability to quickly learn—payroll management, HRIS, and similar applications.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment.
  • Ability to build trust and respect with employees at all levels.
  • An empathetic, employee-focused approach and the ability to listen respectfully and communicate positively.
  • Knowledge of—or willingness to learn—relevant labor laws, safety standards, and HR best practices.
  • PHR or SHRM‑CP certification is a plus.

You’ll also contribute to a workplace where people are treated with respect, communication is positive, and employees feel comfortable bringing forward questions, concerns, and ideas.
