Job Overview

Support daily administrative functions of the Executive Office & Human Resources Department. Assist the General Manager and Director of Human Resources with hiring, employee relations, training, and communication tasks.

Responsibilities
  1. Support employment processes: applicant screening, reference checks, paperwork verification.
  2. Refer suitable candidates to managers for interviews.
  3. Assist with correspondence, logs, reports, and benefit administration.
  4. Coordinate pre-employment steps, including drug testing and reference checks.
  5. Respond to applicants, process paperwork, and assist with orientation.
  6. Maintain employee records, assist with claims, and support HR events.
  7. Ensure compliance with immigration laws and maintain supplies.
  8. Distribute paychecks, support special projects, and manage social media presence.
  9. Coordinate guest communications, departmental requests, and assist other hotel departments as needed.
  10. Support hotel programs and leadership communication.
  11. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 1-3 years hotel or HR experience.
  • Ability to work long hours, lift up to 20 pounds, and communicate effectively.
  • Friendly demeanor, multitasking ability, and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of PC, typing 35 wpm, bilingual skills a plus.
  • Leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work under pressure.
