City of New York’s DCWP is seeking a Timekeeping Associate to support daily time and leave records, process transactions, and ensure policy compliance. The role requires a four-year high school diploma, clerical experience, and strong keyboarding skills.
Ideal candidates will be analytical, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team while handling confidential information. Knowledge of CityTime and related NYC systems is a plus and training will be provided.

The Timekeeping Unit supports all DCWP staff through the accurate and efficient management of time and leave records. We’re seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Timekeeping Associate to help maintain accurate employee timekeeping records, process time and leave transactions, and ensure compliance with city policies and procedures. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with systems, values accuracy and organization, and is committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Qualification Requirements: A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement: Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
