CTH Recruiting LLC is seeking a seasoned Community Manager for an affordable housing community in Pittsburgh. You will oversee HUD compliance, occupancy management, financial performance and resident relations, coordinating with maintenance, vendors and leadership to ensure service excellence.

The role emphasizes accessibility, dignity and responsive communication, with a focus on compliant operations, inspections readiness and strong resident engagement for an age-diverse community.

Qualifications

• Two years of Community Manager experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent education from a college or technical school.
• Direct experience managing HUD-assisted housing.
• Knowledge of income verification and recertifications.
• LIHTC or blended-program experience preferred.
• Understanding of Fair Housing and accessibility requirements.
• Experience with older adults or people with disabilities is helpful.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day operations for a HUD-assisted affordable housing community.
• Maintain resident files, certifications, income documentation and compliance records.
• Manage annual and interim recertifications within required timeframes.
• Support leasing, occupancy, waiting-list administration and move-ins.
• Monitor rent collection, expenses, invoices and financial performance.
• Prepare files for MOR, REAC/NSPIRE inspections.
• Coordinate repairs, maintenance, vendors and property improvements.
• Communicate policies, repairs and inspections clearly to residents.
• Respond to reasonable accommodation and accessibility requests.
• Partner with supportive-service professionals and community resources.
• Address resident concerns with patience and follow-through.
• Supervise onsite employees and maintain HUD compliance.
• Provide timely operational and financial updates to regional leadership.
• Promote a safe, clean, welcoming and respectful community.
