Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or four to six years related experience and/or training.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license. Must be eligible for bonding.
• COS certification within one year after being hired.
• This position has been identified as Safety-sensitive; subject to drug screening per OHFA policy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts required MORs and follows up on results of third-party inspections.
• Notifies owners of MOR findings and provides corrective-action instructions.
• Follows up with owners with compliance issues to complete closeout requirements.
• Processes contract rent adjustments by verifying debt service, utility allowance, and Reserve for Replacement deposits.
• Processes Section 8 HAP contract renewals and reviews Rent Comparability Study for completeness.
• Assists residents in obtaining vouchers if a HAP contract is terminated.
• Assists CA Finance to ensure monthly vouchers are for eligible tenants.
• Addresses health, safety and tenant issues from tenants or HUD and follows up biweekly as needed to ensure action.
