Job summary

Virginia Housing Development Authority seeks a Sr. Program Officer to administer all aspects of program implementation, financial reporting, and budgeting for assigned funds.

The role supervises contract awards, program monitoring, construction activities, and HUD 811 compliance to ensure high standards across a portfolio of properties. The ideal candidate has extensive property management or housing compliance experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with cloud-based software

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Several years in a property management or housing compliance role.
• Ability to navigate software systems and cloud-based applications.
• Must inspect properties by navigating buildings, stairways and grounds.
• Strong organization, prioritization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program implementation, financial reporting, and budgeting for assigned funds.
• Manage contract awards, program monitoring, and compliance with HUD 811 requirements.
• Direct portfolio management of complex properties to ensure accurate financial reporting and adherence to standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support program design and operational goals.
