Job summary

KMG Prestige in Detroit, MI is seeking a Certification Specialist who is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of handling agency reporting, move-ins, recertifications, notices, and resident account monitoring. The ideal candidate thrives on challenges and maintains a positive attitude while supporting compliance with HUD and LIHTC regulations.

The role requires strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, knowledge of Section 8/LIHTC programs, and experience with OneSite or

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with low income housing, specifically HUD Section 8 and/or LIHTC.
• Illinois Tax Credit Experience.
• Experience with OneSite Property management software or similar.
• Knowledge of HUD and LIHTC program regulations, up to and including HOTMA.
• Current Compliance certification preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Agency reporting.
• Processing move-ins and recertifications.
• Sending out notices.
• Monitoring resident accounts.
• And other duties as assigned.
