Job summary

Housing Authority of the City of Shreveport (HACS) seeks an Assistant Property Manager with proven property management experience to join our team. You will supervise staff, oversee assigned housing developments, ensure occupancy, and support HUD compliance and renovation planning.

The role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills to prepare reports, respond to emergencies, and conduct inspections to ensure units are ready for occupancy.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, train and evaluate subordinate staff.
• Manage assigned housing development and ensure HUD compliance.
• Maintain high occupancy rate and timely completion of work orders.
• Participate in scope of work and financial planning for renovations.
• Prepare monthly and semi-annual reports of work performed at assigned housing development.
• Respond to emergencies during and after regular business hours.
• Perform annual inspections and pre-move-in inspections.
