Job summary

United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS) seeks a dedicated supervisor to lead Package Handlers, train teams, and uphold safety, production and attendance standards. This role sets high expectations for accuracy, customer service, organization, and communication across the station.

You will implement development plans, ensure effective onboarding, and coach staff for ongoing growth. A Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent is required, with a preference for prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift 70 lbs (32 kg).
• Flexible shift availability (up to 5 days/week).
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures, in compliance with OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to maximize output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and cooperation.
• Implement employee development plans to support professional growth.
• Ensure onboarding, orientation, and regular training for department personnel; provide coaching.
• Ensure adherence to safety policies at all times.
