Job summary

UPS is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in the United States to lead Package Handlers and train teams, driving safety, production, and attendance. The role focuses on maintaining high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, communication, cooperation, and safety across the station.

You will develop staff, implement personal development plans, and ensure comprehensive training and evaluations to support ongoing professional growth and a safe, efficient workplace.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs / 32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred.
• Management experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and OSHA requirements.
• Manage department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency at all times.
• Establish a positive, team-oriented work environment emphasizing employee involvement, proactive communication, inter-departmental cooperation, and continual improvement.
• Implement employee personal development plans as required to ensure ongoing professional growth of department personnel.
• Ensure all employees receive orientation, skills and safety training, materials, evaluations, and proactive coaching to support development.
• Ensure all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
