Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Hub Operations Lead to manage day-to-day HUB functions, including order fulfillment and inventory control. The role may involve leading HUB Inventory Specialists and HUB Drivers, with a focus on aligning parts sourcing and logistics with store networks.

Candidates should have store systems knowledge, basic parts knowledge, and prior leadership experience. This is a full-time on-site position with strong emphasis on safety, communication, and process

Qualifications

• Must be competent at oral and written communications and handle basic math computations.
• Should have prior retail experience, including basic merchandising and inventory management skills.
• Able to drive forklift, if certified and applicable, and use a hand truck and pallet jack.
• Should be well mannered, neat in appearance and possess the ability to meet and deal with the public in an unbiased manner.
• Previous work records should demonstrate stability and performance results.
• Scheduling factors necessitate that the individual should be able to come to work on short notice, and/or work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
• Immediately report to General Manager and/or District Manager any violation of company policy or procedure.

Responsibilities

• Lead HUB operations and resolve HUB orders promptly.
• Direct HUB team members and delegate HUB tasks.
• Review HUB orders, pull parts, stage products, finalize paperwork.
• Coordinate with drivers and store network on paperwork and instructions.
• Collaborate with GM/DM/CSC on inventory mix and levels.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts and related tasks.
• Maintain HUB records and comply with paperwork policies.
• Escalate risks to store leaders about order fulfillment or shipments.
• Oversee replenishment stocking to complete within 24 hours.
• Support additional inventory activities like overstocks and resets.
