Job summary

The Healthy Texas Women Nurse IV HTW Policy Analyst position reports to the Medical and Dental Benefits Policy Managers in HHSC. The role performs highly advanced medical benefit policy analysis for the HTW program, planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating HTW policy updates.

The position requires excellent writing skills and strong research abilities, including literature reviews using PubMed/Medline and other databases, and the ability to synthesize findings for clinical and policy

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a health-related field.
• Master's degree in public health or related field preferred.
• Experience conducting literature reviews and data synthesis.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Attends work on a regular schedule and supports HTW program policy updates.
• Performs literature reviews and synthesizes findings for policy development.
• Develops, reviews, and updates HTW medical benefit policies.
• Leads or participates in special projects and stakeholder engagement.
